Dino Bodega

Born from an artist collective in collaboration with the MTA, Dino Bodega transforms an abandoned station storefront (unused since 2014) into a reimagined Brooklyn bodega set in a world still ruled by prehistoric beasts. Think of a New York classic dropped straight into the 90’s live-action show Dinosaurs.

A seven-foot-tall clerk named Rex greets onlookers, while shelves are stocked with faux products, periodicals, and bulletins loaded with clever New York–centric easter eggs. My role included designing multiple products, such as chocolate bars and chips, alongside helping clean and prepare the space and contributing to concept development.

With our lease renewed through next year, Dino Bodega continues to evolve, with seasonal events and new dino-inspired twists planned for the future.
